Description: | Occuring on saturated calcareous sediments along stream margin and partially submerged in shallow pools ca 6 deep. |
Habitat: | Stream substrate of chalk bedrock overlain with small amounts of alluvium. Water darkly tannin stained. Rolling upland calcareous prairies with deeply cut stream channels lined with mixed hardwoods covered with Tillandsia usneoides. |
