Habitat: | Multi-age longleaf pine woodland on dry-mesic hilltop, grading down to moist flat. High species diversity on slopes, last burned in 1996. Local groups of 20 plants with erect of erect-ascending virgate branches, leaves 12-18 mm long, linear, numerous and fascicled. Corollas small, without spots or lines, sessile or on stalks to 3 mm. With Aristida beyrinchiana, Desmondium linear, Myrica cerifera var. pumila, Pityopsis graminifolia, Sorghastrum nutans, Schizachyrium scoparium, S. tenerum |
