Locality: | USA. Alabama. Sumter: On N side rte 20 (just E of I-59), 0.5 mi. NW of rte 21 and Epes Post Office. Also seen along roadside around Epes and near Tombigbee River Bridge (hiway 11). |
Habitat: | Frequent in heavy clay of meadow (pasture) with Carex cherokeensis, Festuca, Oenothera, Verbena, Asclepias viridis, and Arnoglossum plantagineum. |
