Description: | T. decumbens is a close relative of T. stamineum Harbison, but very distinct, especially by its shorter, decumbent scape which permits the leaves to lie flat on the ground; by its longer petals, and shorter anthers with connective prominently prolonged beyond the pollen sacs. A letter from T. G. Harbison to Dr. Small, concerning Type material of T. decumbens, is glued on a separate sheet but filed with the specimen. |
