Description:Tap rooted perennial herb, petals yellow; occasional. With Pinus elliottii, Ilex myrsinites, I. glabra, I. opaca, Hydrocotyle bonariensis, Chamaecrista, Smilax, Rubus, Diodia, Physalis angustifolia, Myrica, Uniola, Vitis, Centrosema virginianum, Teucrium 
Habitat:Coastal strand, back side of somewhat stabilized fore dunes.
