Description:Shrub, 50 cm tall, sepals and petals light green, disc yellow; common. With Juniperus, Quercus, Yucca, Amsonia ciliata, Pinus virginiana, P. palustris, Croton alabamensis, Rhus aromatica, Blephilia ciliata, Allium canadense, Marshallia, Castilleja krali 
Habitat:East facing dolomite outcrop, open scrub
