Habitat:Road passes through cypress depressions on extensive flat, probably former floodplain of Yellow River. Mowing allows herbs and graminoids to dominate. Common, with Sabatia bartramii, Taxodium ascendens, Lobelia floridana, Oxypolis filiformis, Andropogon glaucopsis, Eriocaulon decangulare, Coelorachis rugosa, Xyris smalliana, Ilex myrtifolia, Lachnanthes caroliana.
