Habitat:Along edge of open areas of glades near Juniperus virginiana; extensive dolomite glades surrounded by Juniperus-Quercus-Pinus forest above and mixed mesic hardwoods (Acer, Carpinus, Carya, Fagus, Nyssa, Ostrya) below.
