Locality: | USA. Alabama. St. Clair: 1.25 air mi. SW of Cool Springs. N side of Barker Mountain essentially equidistant from the SW and NE end. Along AL Hwy 23 on N side in woods between road and Big Canoe Creek. |
Habitat: | Rich but young woods. Soil very dark and rich. Exposed limestone outcroppings nearby. Trillium lancifolium, T. decumbens, T. stamineum, T. rugellii are all present at this locality. |
