| Description: | Tall (~24 inches) and erect. Stems with distinctive reddish coloration/badning at nodes. Stamens three. Disk of female flower five-lobed. Sepals five. Fruits stalked but not as long and slender as in P. tenellus. Leaves not hispidulous. Associated with Verbena montevidensis. |
