Locality: | USA. Alabama. Mobile: Along the north side of Girby Road, approximately 150 feet east of the entrance to the Mobile County Environmental Studies Center. The cleared roadside corridor borders a large forested wetland system (floodplain of Campground Branch). A maintained sewer line corridor runs north through the bottomland forest at this location. |
Description: | Plants tall (1.0-1.5 m in hieght) and robust like R. corniculata; cespitose and non-rhizomatous. Associated with Scirpus cyperinus and Sagittaria sp. Spikelets 6-7 mm and clustered somewhat close together. Style approximately 3 mm long and sulcate. Common |
