Description:Flowers rather small, only 4 cm long. 
Habitat:Dry, sandy longleaf pine woods on hillside. Associated with turkey oak, sand post oak, bluejack oak, winged sumac, Vaccinium arboreum, V. elliottii, Andropogon tener.
