Plant Notes:An undetermined species of Rhus was collected twice in subsequent years (2008 & 2009) on Dauphin Island in Shell Mound Park. The specimens were obtained from an invasive species that has now been eradicated and no additional plants have been discovered. Unfortunately, the specimens were without flowers and fruits making determination to species difficult. The specimens were originally identified as Schinus terebinthifolius Raddi which is now believed to be incorrect. The "Unknown Sumac" is probably Asian in origin.--B. Keener & H. Horne
